Opala Joalharia is not responsible for any losses or damages due to interference, interruptions, computer viruses, breakdowns or disconnections of the operating system that may temporarily interfere with access, navigation or provision of services to users.

The customer and user must comply with and obey these general terms of agreement and use. Specifically, customers and users must comply with the following obligations:

In order to shop online on www.opalajoalharia.pt, you must register as a customer by filling out the form available online. After registering, all you need to do is add all the items you wish to purchase to the shopping cart. You must follow all the steps of the online shopping process to successfully complete the purchase.
When ordering rings, the customer must always inform the size, and for this purpose refer to the table of sizes availabe for consult on the site and strictly follow the instructions provided. Opala Joalharia has no responsibility when there is any inaccuracy by the Customer that can lead to delivery of inappropriate product.
The purchase order validation assumes that the client has learned and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of www.opalajoalharia.pt. The data recorded by Opala Joalharia constitutes evidence of all transactions made between Opala Joalharia and the Customer. It is the responsibility of Opala Joalharia to archive the electronic document that formalizes the contract and keep it available to the customer.
As soon as you complete your purchase, you will receive an automatic email confirming the transaction. If the information is not correct, you can immediately ask that it be corrected or even cancel the purchase.
The payment of your purchases is made through a specially designed payment system for opalajoalharia.pt, which ensures security and privacy increase.

- product availability

The products in our online catalog can be viewed physically and inspected by the competent authorities at our headquarters. Opala Joalharia only processes an order placed by a customer after confirmation of the respective payment, so Opala Joalharia cannot guarantee the availability of the articles until the beginning of said processing. In addition to the estimated shipping time, the shipping time depends on the carrier and the destination of your order. Opala Joalharia only dispatches on weekdays. In this way, neither weekends nor holidays are counted for order delivery estimates. The average delivery time for products purchased at Opala Joalharia is 3 working days for deliveries in Portugal and 6 working days for deliveries in the European Union. Personalized items have an average delivery time of 5 weeks. Delivery times are indicative and, therefore, to be considered valid when there are no physical or structural impediments (for example: incorrect addresses or force majeure setbacks).
In any case, the estimated delivery dates are only indicative. If it is found that no goods ordered are in stock, Opala Joalharia may choose to:
1- contact the supplier inquiring about the possibility of replacing the missing item, contacting the customer if the delivery time or the price of the item changes, and the order will only continue after the consent given by the customer; or
2- cancel the order reimbursing the customer of all amounts paid.
Any delay in the shipment of items, given the estimated dates presented, does not confer the right to compensation.
Each shipment is accompanied by the following documents:
- Manufacturer's Warranty,
- Detailed invoice.
The Customer has the right, at the time of receipt of his order, to open the packaging to verify that the product is in accordance with what was ordered and that it does not present any external defects.
Opala Joalharia will be obliged to refuse any request for refund or replacement (right of withdrawal) for products with external defects that have been accepted by our Customers at the time of delivery. The right of withdrawal remains valid in cases of technical problems that are detected by the Customer after delivery and in accordance with the terms provided for by law. How to proceed when receiving the order:
1. Check that the packaging is in perfect condition.
2. Open the package asking the courier to wait for the check (this is a right that the Customer assists).
3. Check that the product complies with the order placed and that it does not have any visible defects. If everything is in order, accept delivery.
4. In case of any non-conformity, that is, an error in the requested product, or a visible defect, you must refuse delivery and fill out the form for these cases, indicating the problem.
5. Return the packaging and all its contents to the courier (transport company).
6. Send an email within 24 hours indicating the problem to the Customer Service to the email geral@opalajoalharia.pt.

- shipping costs

Shipping costs for Portugal and International:
For orders with a value equal to or greater than € 30.00 for delivery in Portugal, we offer shipping costs. For orders with a value equal to or greater than €100.00 for international delivery me offer shipping costs.
Different options will be presented in the "checkout", with the indication of the respective costs, for the dispatch of orders according to their destination.
All customs and customs expenses that may exist will be paid by the customer to the competent services.
The Client can also, if he wishes and informing us, choose to collect the order in our physical store at no cost.

- cancelations, exchanges and returns

Applicable for purchases made at www.opalajoalharia.pt.
The Customer may cancel his order at any time until delivery, with the right to a refund of all amounts paid. Upon receipt of the order by the Customer, the Customer will be able to exercise his right of free resolution under the terms legally provided and indicated below.
Failure to pay the order within 5 (five) days following the date on which the order was placed implies automatic cancellation of the same.
Under the terms of Law 7/2004 of 7 January, relating to electronic commerce, Opala Joalharia reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the order whenever there is a programming error, malfunction of Opala Joalharia computers or if the contractual proposal arrives deformed at its destination and that the error concerns an essential element of the contract.
In the case of orders paid using credit, partial or total, the credit agreement is automatically and simultaneously deemed to be resolved, without the right to compensation (article 8 of Decree-Law 143/2001, of 26 April with the wording given by the Decree-Law 82/2008, of 20 May).
Within the scope of its Customer Satisfaction Policy, and in accordance with the applicable legal terms, Opal Joalharia allows the exchange or return (resolution of the contract) of items, within 14 days from the date of receipt by the Customer, without payment of compensation and without the need to state the reason.
To this end, the Client must communicate his intention in writing, via email to geral@opalajoalharia.pt, or letter to Customer Support Opalajoalharia.pt, Avenida Benjamim Araújo 36, 3700-059 São João da Madeira, Portugal. Articles must be returned within 14 days of receipt, accompanied by the Original Invoice (article 6 of Decree-Law 143/2001, of 26 April with the wording given by Decree-Law 82/2008, of 20 May) and Note Return Form duly completed.
If you want to exchange or return items, you can go to our Opala Joalharia store, or contact Customer Support Opalajoalharia.pt (Phone 00351 256 834 384 or email geral@opalajoalharia.pt), which will provide you with all the information about the exchange / return process. In no case send items without prior contact as they will not be received.
The return and exchange of articles must respect the following conditions:
• Return of articles in good condition, with original packaging complete and accompanied by the respective invoice;
• Exchanges of personalized items according to the Client's specifications are not accepted.

The Customer is responsible for the correct packaging of the products to be returned, as well as the costs inherent to their shipment.
All items will be checked upon arrival at our service and only those who respect the return conditions will be accepted for exchange or return.
Opal Joalharia reserves the right not to accept articles that do not fulfill these conditions.
If the Customer chooses to return the amount paid, we inform that the refund is made by the same means of payment.
In the event of having received damaged items or with technical problems, Opal Joalharia will schedule the collection of them at the location you indicate, in the same shipping area as the original order, without any charges to the Customer.
Opal Joalharia will charge 10 (ten) euros of administrative expenses to all customers who return items due to an error attributable to the customer.

- consumer goods warranty and after-sales service

All equipment is covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
If the product purchased is defective or defective, you must inform Opalajoalharia.pt Customer Support, informing your order number and the description of the malfunction. The costs of returning or collecting items within the Warranty period, will be borne by Opal Joalharia.
Upon receipt of the item at the Opala Joalharia premises, we will carry out the technical verification and, in case of any lack of conformity, the item will be replaced. In this case, we will replace the item and make a new shipment to your address at no additional cost.
If the technical check detects signs of misuse, and / or any problem that may have caused the item to malfunction, which is attributed to the user (eg, drop, humidity, etc.), you will be contacted to indicate whether you want to proceed with the repair. equipment. Not being covered by the manufacturer's warranty, these repairs will be subject to quotation by the brand's Technical Assistance.
In the case of goods outside the warranty period, Opala Joalharia also provides technical assistance, so you can inform and send the defective or damaged items to the Opalajoalharia.pt Customer Support. The articles will be analyzed by the After-Sales Service Opalajoalharia.pt, which will issue a technical opinion and respective repair budget.
The repair will only start after the Client has accepted the quote.

Payment options
Payment must be made on the order date, using one of the means below:
- Bank transfer;
- Hi-pay;
- Visa or MasterCard;
Payment must be made after placing the order, under penalty of cancellation.
Payments by bank transfer must be made to the IBAN PT50 0036 0367 9910 6008 5384 6 from Banco Montepio. The Customer must, in this case, indicate in the description the number and date of the order. - applicable legislation
